Job Overview Insight Global is seeking dedicated P3 teachers for our client's Head Start program in New Jersey. In this role, you will work alongside two teacher assistants in classrooms of 15 children aged 3 to 5 years. Your responsibilities include warmly welcoming students, assisting with hygiene routines, facilitating family-style meals, and leading circle time activities. You will supervise outdoor play, guide various learning activities, and conduct engaging story sessions to promote literacy. Additionally, you will prepare children for nap time, oversee snack time, and ensure smooth transitions at the end of the day. As a P3 teacher, you will foster culturally competent interactions that respect the diverse backgrounds of children and families. You will plan learning experiences, including field trips, while maintaining a safe and organized environment. You will also handle necessary documentation, ensure compliance with regulations. Reporting any suspected child or elder abuse per New Jersey guidelines and modeling ethical behavior in all interactions are crucial aspects of this role. Responsibilities Develop and implement lesson plans that align with educational standards and cater to the diverse needs of students. Conduct standardized testing to assess student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly. Manage classroom behavior effectively, employing positive reinforcement strategies to encourage appropriate conduct. Engage with children through interactive activities that promote learning and development. Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns that may arise. Collaborate with other educators to create a cohesive educational experience for students. Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment conducive to learning.
