Job Description:

We are looking for a Cloud Engineer to manage and optimize our AWS and Azure environments, support development workflows, and ensure the security and reliability of our cloud infrastructure. Responsibilities include troubleshooting cloud and network issues, performing regular system maintenance, managing deployments, and participating in an on-call rotation for off-hours support. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in both Windows and Linux administration, network management and a strong grasp of automation practices.Responsibilities:Attending to needs of AWS/Azure cloud and platform workflows.Root cause identification and remediation of security/system alertsPerforming server and network troubleshooting and management remotelyRegular system maintenancePerforming application deploymentsFollow change control processesDocument new procedures and follow existing operating proceduresWork on projects and tasks assigned in a timely mannerWill be required to regularly jump between different Operating Systems and platforms depending on issue or taskParticipate in an on-call rotation schedule for off-hours escalationsRequired Skills:At least 5 years of experience in Windows System AdministrationAt least 5 years of experience in Network AdministrationAt least 3 years of experience managing Azure & Azure DevOpsAt least 3 years of experience managing AWS environmentSystem management shell knowledge, with Powershell, Python, or Batch.Experience with Linux administration a plusExperience with CI/CD toolsExperience with IaC, Docker or Kubernetes a plusExperience with virtual technologies such as VMware ESX, or Hyper-V a plusAdvanced understanding of base concepts and protocols such as TCP, NAT, ARP, DHCP, DNS, Active Directory, VLAN, VPNAbility to perform end-to-end troubleshooting of issuesAbility to identify the root cause of issues to solve problems quicklyStrong motivation to automate processes.Ability to create and implement change controls and security procedures.Other Details about the JobThis is a Full-Time position.All standard benefits are included such as medical/dental/vision insurance and vacation time.We encourage and reward professional certificationsSalary will be based on experience.
