Volt is immediately hiring Manufacturing Engineering in Hanover,
MD
Job Description:
Collaborate with Design and Manufacturing Engineering to define
test strategies and fixtures.
Contribute to test execution, documentation, and analysis of
results.
Design and construct electrical test stations per test
specifications for testing electronic assemblies.
Debugging production test stations and implement and maintain test
equipment for production lines.
Support the Product Development Team to meet schedule, quality, and
cost expectations.
Work with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and other support staff
to develop and implement improvements related to production flow
including test time reduction and quality improvements.
Support the operations strategic plan and maintain its alignment to
the overall program strategic plan.
Interface with other Operations leaders as well as cross
functional/ cross departmental teams.
Provide operations cost estimates for proposals and maintain
accountability for meeting the estimates.
Bachelor's Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant
experience.
Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related
experience.
IPC 620 experience/knowledge
This is a 12 Month full time Contract or Contract to hire
opportunity.
Pay Range: $45 - $50 per hour.
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on
several factors, including the candidate's education, work
experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications,
etc.
