Job Description:
Overview: Tavern 519 is seeking a passionate and experienced
Head Chef to lead our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will bring
creativity, leadership, and a commitment to delivering exceptional
dining experiences that align with our restaurant's reputation for
quality and innovation. Key Responsibilities: Menu Development:
Design and update seasonal menus, incorporating fresh, locally
sourced ingredients. Kitchen Leadership: Supervise and mentor
kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work
environment. Food Preparation: Ensure all dishes are prepared to
the highest standards of quality and presentation. Inventory
Management: Oversee ordering, stock control, and supplier
relationships to maintain optimal inventory levels. Compliance:
Maintain strict adherence to health and safety regulations,
ensuring a clean and safe kitchen environment. Budget Management:
Monitor food costs and kitchen expenses to meet financial targets.
Customer Satisfaction: Address and resolve any food-related
customer concerns promptly and professionally. Position
Requirements Proven culinary experience as a Head Chef or Kitchen
Chef in a similar establishment. Strong leadership and team
management skills. Expertise in menu planning and food costing.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards. Creativity and
passion for culinary arts. Employment Type: Full Time Years
Experience: 1 - 3 years Salary: $75,000 - $90,000 Annual
